SEC Approves New Rules on Short Selling
As was widely expected, the SEC approved new restrictions on short-selling.
The new rules require that trades be executed above the national best existing bid in the market when a stock falls -10% or more in a single session. The rule states that the new restrictions will continue for the following trading session.
