Dimon Looking to Increase Dividend at JP Morgan

JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon says the company would like to increase its dividend payout next year

Dimon said the company will increase the dividend when the economy has clearly improved. He says the dividend increase isn’t likely until the second quarter of next year.

Dimon would like to increase the annual rate of the dividends by $0.80 to $1.00 (JPM paid a quarterly dividend of $0.05 on 10/31)

In addition, Dimon says JPM will increase small-business loans.
