Initial Claims for Unemployment Insurance for the week ending 10/20 fell 23,000 and were reported at 369K.
The total was below the consensus estimate for 374K and last week’s initially reported total of 388k (which has been revised up to 392k).
Continuing Claims for the week ending 10/13 came in at 3.245M vs. consensus of 3.258M.
