Germany's IFO Business Climate Index Weakens in October

Europe Update: German IFO Business Climate Index
The IFO Business Climate Index in Germany for the month of October shows that business sentiment continues to weaken in even the continent’s strongest economy.
The IFO index was reported at 100, which was below the consensus estimate for 101.5.0 and last month’s reading of 101.4
The Current Conditions Index came in at 107.3, which was a tenth below September’s level of 110.3.
The expectations component fell to 93.2, which held steady from last month’s 93.2.
The IFO Business Climate Index is based on surveys of 7,000 companies.
