UPS Report In Line With Expectations; Guidance Narrows

Earnings Update: United Parcel Service
Economic bellwether United Parcel Service (UPS) reported Q3 earnings per share of $1.06 which was in line with the consensus estimate of $1.06.
On the revenue side, the company also was light on top line growth. UPS produced revenues for the quarter of $13.07 billion, which was below of the consensus estimate of $13.23 billion.
In addition, the company narrowed its full year EPS estimates to a range of $4.50- $4.56 versus the prior range of $4.50 - $4.70 and the consensus of $4.56.
UPS stock last traded in the after-hours session at $75.05, up from the closing price of $71.56.
