Europe Update: Italy GDP Contracts for 4th Straight Quarter
Italy’s preliminary Q2 GDP was reported to have contracted by -0.7% on a quarterly basis and by -2.5% on a year-over-year basis.
The decline in the rate of economic output was higher than analysts had expected and marks the 4th consecutive quarter of contraction.
