ECB Leaves Rates Unchanged

The European Central Bank announced Thursday that it will leave its benchmark interest rates unchanged. The current rate stands at 1.00%

All eyes will be on ECB President Mario Draghi when he steps to the microphone for his post-ECB announcement press conference later this morning.

Analysts will be listening for hints from Draghi regarding future interest rate moves as well as the ECB’s stance on Greece.

Draghi may also face questions on the banks LTRO program. A second round of unlimited bank funding is scheduled for Feb. 29.
