Futures Soft Ahead of ECB Rate Announcement and U.S. Data

Here’s a brief look at the pre-market action…
- Another day of watching developments in Greece, with no deal yet but stories this morning that the "deadline" now extended another 15 days...(which could put the market on hold for a while).
- However, several major data points and announcements today, with the ECB out with a rate announcement at 7:45 am est, jobless claims in the U.S. at 8:30 am and a continued flow of earnings reports
- Overnight China's inflation figures came in higher than expected which might lessen the odds of further monetary easing...Asian markets were largely flat to slightly down.
- Europe is up a bit at the moment, about +0.3%, as the BOE just announced a further round of QE and the ECB rate decision to come, which is expected to go unchanged.
- U.S. futures down slightly as we write…
