Europe Update: Italian Bond Auction Results

Rates continue to come down in the Eurozone’s embattled countries.

Italy sold €4.5 billion of 2-year zero-coupon bonds at an average yield of 3.763%, which was below the 4.853% seen at the previous auction. The bid to cover ratio 1.714.

Note that this was the first bond auction since S&P's downgrade.
