Yields Continue To Pull Back at Spanish T-Bill Auction

Europe Update: Spanish T-Bill Auction

Rates continue to come down in the Eurozone’s embattled countries. Today’s T-Bill auction in Spain produced lower rates and strong demand.

Spain sold €1.40 billion of 3-month bills at an average yield of 1.285%, which was below the 1.735% seen at the previous auction. The bid to cover ratio 4.3 vs 2.9 previously.

Spain also sold €1.11 billion of 6-month bills at an average yield of 1.847% vs 2.435% at previous auction. The bid to cover ratio 6.9 vs 4.1 at previous auction.
