Europe Update: Hungary’s Reduction Efforts Not Sustainable
Reuters reports that EU commissioner Olli Rehn said Wednesday that Hungary's deficit reduction efforts are thanks to one-off measures and cannot be seen as sustainable.
Rehn says that while Hungary won't face financial sanctions they can face suspension of funds from 2013 forward if they do not make concerted efforts to reduce their deficit.
