Things We're Hearing This Hour

With the market whooshing lower recently and the Dow now down more than 500 points, I wanted to pass on some of the things I'm hearing this afternoon...

  • Italys largest bank - Unicredit - may be in trouble, sparking talk of another "Lehman moment"
  • There is talk of big macro funds moving to "ultra defensive" positions
  • We hear that countries such as S. Korea is buying gold hand over fist
  • The latest dive is being attributed to "more of the same" from the President

Finally, while everody and their grandmother is trying to call a bottom, I will admit that this is beginning to feel like an "emotional washout."

So ask yourself: Have you thrown in the towel yet?

All the Best,
