The final readings for May Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) for the service sectors in Europe are out this morning.
Final Results:
- Eurozone Services PMI: 56.0 vs. consensus 55.4 (April: 56.7)
- Germany Services PMI: 56.1 vs. consensus 54.9 (April: 56.8)
- France Services PMI: 62.5 vs. consensus 62.8 (April: 63.4)
- UK Services PMI: 53.8 vs. consensus 54.1 (April: 54.3)
Recall that readings above 50 indicate expansion in the sector while readings under 50 indicate contraction.
