PIGI’S Update: Spain T-Bond Auction
Although rates rose, Spain completed a successful T-Bond auction Thursday.
Spain’s treasury sold €2.75 billion of 2014 bonds at an average yield of 4.037%, which is above the previous auction’s rate of 3.568%.
The bid-to-cover ratio (a measure of demand for the bonds) was 2.5 vs. 1.8 at the previous auction.
