PIGI’S Update: EU Commission Review Ireland’s Progress
The European Commission reports that after a joint EC/ECB/IMF review of Ireland’s finances, the program is on track. The committee says that the agree fiscal targets for 2010 were met and that the data so far for 2011 suggests that the targets are within reach.
The committee authorized the released of the second installment of the bailout package funds totaling €3 billion.
